The digitization in combination with the knowledge and technology development that is going on in the medical field challenges the traditional organization of health care. The changes are extensive and apply both to what can be achieved purely medically, how to organize the activities and how to involve patients and related parties.

Our view is that the person-centered care should be the starting point for the digital transformation of health care, where care is organized based on the patient’s overall needs and where outcome measures that are important for the patient can be measured and followed up. The patient’s participation is a prerequisite for both future financing and for the development of health care.
